National Puzzle Day 2008

It's not one of the more popular holidays, but today is National Puzzle Day. And since we usually celebrate National Library Week (this year, April 13-19) with a bunch of puzzles and prizes, we thought we'd throw out a warm-up brain buster.

Click here for this year's logic puzzle.

To see what we've done in past years, be sure to check out our National Library Week collection.

The answers will be posted on Chris' door on Friday.

The Library will have more limited hours for Martin Luther King, Jr., Day, which is Monday, January 21.

Students with a valid ID card will have access from 2 pm to midnight.

The Library will be closed to the public all day.

(PS: You may still see some references to "Lee-Jackson-King Day" in Virginia. For several years, the Commonwealth of Virginia celebrated the birthdays of General Robert E. Lee, General Thomas "Stonewall" Jackson, and the Reverend Martin Luther King, Jr., all on the same day -- the third Monday in January. The birthdays were split up in 2000, so King's birthday is celebrated on that Monday, and the generals share the prior Friday. For a more detailed explanation, see the ASL Library News for January 2006.)
