Exam Access Fall 2018

Beginning the evening of Sunday, November 25, the Library will offer extended card access during the two weeks of exams. Instead of closing at midnight, the Library will close at 2 am each night for our students. This extended access will end on the last day of exams, which is Friday, December 7, at 5 pm. Our Circulation/Reserve Desk hours remain the same.

If you need a replacement ID card, please stop by the Circulation/Reserve Desk during normal business hours with $5 (cash or check). It might take up to 30 minutes to process.

Thanksgiving Break 2018

The Library will have more limited hours during Thanksgiving Break.

On Saturday, November 17, and Sunday, November 18, the Library will not be staffed. Students with a valid ID card will still have access from 10 am to 6 pm on Saturday, and from 2 pm to 10 pm on Sunday. The Library is not open to public patrons on the weekends.

On Monday, November 19, and Tuesday, November 20, the Library will be staffed from 9 am to 4 pm, with card access from 6 am to 10 pm. Public patrons are welcome to use the Library from 9 am to 4 pm.

On Wednesday, November 21, the Library will be staffed from 9 am to noon. Students will have card access from 6 am to noon. At noon, we will close completely, and be closed all of Thanksgiving Day (November 22).

On Friday, November 23, the Library will not be staffed, but students will have card access from 9 am to midnight. Card access will also be available on Saturday, November 24, from 9 am to midnight, but the Library will not be staffed. (We will be closed to the public on Friday, as well as the following weekend.)

Finally, on Sunday, November 25, the Library will shift into exam access hours. The Library will be staffed from noon to 8 pm, but card access will run from noon to 2 am Monday. For the rest of the exam period, the Library will close at 2 am rather than the traditional midnight.

Have a great Thanksgiving Break!
