Get REAL!: Finding Updates

It's our last tutorial of the spring semester! Don't miss our class on finding updates (ie, using citators), held at the Reference Desk at 3:30 pm on Monday, March 28. We'll be covering electronic sources rather than the books. The class should run under 15 minutes.

Get REAL!: Finding Law Review Articles

Join us on Monday, March 21, for a quick tutorial on finding law review articles. Articles are helpful because they're generally more current and more succinct than treatises -- and they're filled with footnotes so you can find other primary and secondary sources on your topic. We'll meet, as always, at the Reference Desk at 3:30 pm for about 15 minutes.

Get REAL!: Finding Statutes

Our "Get REAL!" (Research and Electronic-Assisted Learning) tutorials continue with this week's installment focusing on statutes. Learn how to find these black-letter laws by stopping by the Reference Desk on Monday, March 14, at 3:30 pm for a brief (15 minute) session.

If, however, you want to find statues, we recommend a good museum :)

Get REAL!: Finding Other Secondary Sources

When you have a vague topic that you need to research, where do you start? Sometimes using an encyclopedia article or an ALR annotation might get you on the right track. Learn how to use these resources on Monday, March 7, as we meet at the Reference Desk at 3:30 pm for a short tutorial on using these materials.
