Library Hours for Labor Day (Sept 2)

The ASL Library will have more limited hours on Labor Day (Monday, September 2, 2013).

While the Circulation/Reserve Desk will be closed on Monday, students will be able to access the Library with a valid ID card from noon to midnight.

There are no public hours on Monday.

Our prior weekend hours are unchanged. We will offer Circulation/Reserve Desk services on Saturday from 9 am to 5 pm and on Sunday from noon to 8 pm. Students can access the Library on Saturday from 9 am to midnight, and on Sunday from noon to midnight.

Fall Semester Hours

During Fall Semester 2013, the Library will generally be open to the public Monday through Friday, 8 am to 5 pm, except on holidays and school breaks.

For students, the Library's Circulation Desk will be open Monday through Thursday from 8 am to 8 pm , Friday from 8 am to 5 pm, Saturday from 9 am to 5 pm, and Sunday from 12 noon to 8 pm (except during holiday periods).

With a valid ID card, students have access to the Library building Monday through Friday from 6 am to midnight, Saturday 9 am to midnight, and Sunday 12 noon to midnight, with some modifications during holiday periods.

Library Hours During Orientation Week

Welcome, new students!

If you're interested in getting a head start on the first day of Orientation, the Library will be open on Thursday, August 8, from 8 am to 8 pm. Students already in the Library at 8 pm can remain until midnight.

Our first day of Orientation is Friday, August 9. Our doors open at 8 am in case you're an early starter. You'll be coming through the Library right after lunch (1:30 - 2:15 pm) to get your ID card photo taken, plus you'll set up your network and e-mail accounts and turn in your parking permit applications. Then there's a "Library Orientation" class which begins at 4 pm. The Library doors lock at 5 pm, but if you're in the Library, you can remain until midnight.

On Saturday, August 10, students have access to the Library from 9 am to 5 pm, while on Sunday, August 11, the Library will be open from noon to 8 pm. For both days, if you're in at closing time, you can remain in the building until midnight.
