Library Hours During Orientation Week

Welcome, new students!

If you're interested in getting a head start on the first day of Orientation, the Library will be open on Thursday, August 8, from 8 am to 8 pm. Students already in the Library at 8 pm can remain until midnight.

Our first day of Orientation is Friday, August 9. Our doors open at 8 am in case you're an early starter. You'll be coming through the Library right after lunch (1:30 - 2:15 pm) to get your ID card photo taken, plus you'll set up your network and e-mail accounts and turn in your parking permit applications. Then there's a "Library Orientation" class which begins at 4 pm. The Library doors lock at 5 pm, but if you're in the Library, you can remain until midnight.

On Saturday, August 10, students have access to the Library from 9 am to 5 pm, while on Sunday, August 11, the Library will be open from noon to 8 pm. For both days, if you're in at closing time, you can remain in the building until midnight.
