Last Chance: Student Surveys

The blue student Library survey must be returned by 6 pm on Friday, April 7. We'll compile the statistics and let you know what's on your fellow classmates' minds!

National Library Week Day 5

Thanks to all who participated in National Library Week! We'll be drawing our prize winners today at 11:15 am at the Circulation Desk. You do NOT need to be present to win (we'll put a note in your mailbox if you've won some goodies).

The final list of winners will be posted on our National Library Week page:
http://www.asl.edu/library/nlw.php

The direct link to the Microsoft Word document is here:
http://www.asl.edu/library/nlw/2006winners.doc

And judging by the numbers, we will probably retire the word sudoku puzzle for several years. Fewer than ten people even attempted it (but three five finished it!).

(Edited at 2 pm to add link to winners.)

National Library Week Day 4

National Library Week is almost over, but not before we hand out one last puzzle! Today's is a variant of the recently-popular sudoku. But what do the three sudoku grids have in common?

Check out today's puzzle here
http://www.asl.edu/library/nlw.php

Due to the nature of Friday's compressed schedule, we will be having the prize drawings at about 11:15 am. You do NOT need to be present to win!

Good luck!

National Library Week Day 3

Another puzzling day to celebrate National Library Week: Today we have a simple word cross puzzle full of constitutional cases.

Our puzzles can be found here
http://www.asl.edu/library/nlw.php

For the curious, I'm a bit of a crossword puzzle elitist, which is why I call this puzzle a "word cross." There are certain rules to constructing a "true" crossword; if you're curious, they are given here

Good luck!
