Westlaw Training (3/28)

You have two more chances to obtain Westlaw Certification this week! On Tuesday, John Street will be holding two classes for certification, one starting at 9 am and one at 10:30 am. (They are each an hour and a half long.)

He will also be offering the "Prepare To Practice" class, an hour-long review of popular Westlaw databases and search strategies. Apparently, goodies may also be offered to participants!

AEP has informed us of a power outage on Sunday morning, which should last until noon (approximately). Therefore, neither the Library nor the Law School Building will have power or heat, and will be completely closed.

Regular Sunday hours will resume on April 2, unless we hear that more electrical work needs to be done.

LexisNexis Certification (Second Chance)

LexisNexis trainer Scott Hite will be on campus this Wednesday (March 22) to provide more opportunities to become LexisNexis certified! Look for sign-up sheets at the Circulation Desk.

LexisNexis Certification

Sign up now for the LexisNexis certification classes! Sign up sheets are available at the Circulation Desk in the Library.

This year, we have combined two certification classes into one, so you only need to sign up for one session.

If you are in Professor Loudenslager's LP classes, please sign up for a Monday, February 27, class, which will be held in the Library's Seminar Room. Classes begin at 9 am, 10 am, 11 am, and noon, and run approximately an hour.

All other 1L students should sign up for a Wednesday, March 1, class, which begin at 9 am, noon, 1 pm, 2 pm, and 3 pm. These classes also run an hour, and will be held in the Library's Seminar Room.
