Summer Lexis and Westlaw Access
In case you missed it in our ASL Library News article, we'll review the "rules" for Lexis and Westlaw summer access.
LEXIS: Current 1Ls and 2Ls can go to http://www.lexisnexis.com/lawschool/tps/content.asp?pid=312 to register for full-use summer access for externships or unpaid legal jobs. Please register before June 1, or your access will be limited to job searching databases.
Graduating 3Ls can also go to http://www.lexisnexis.com/lawschool/tps/content.asp?pid=312 to register for bar exam access until August 1. After that date, your LexisNexis ID will expire permanently, so be sure to use any rewards points before then.
WESTLAW:Westlaw still has not responded to our request for information about summer access. Look for information at the http://lawschool.westlaw.com/ web site.
Update (June 14): Westlaw never responded, but several students told us that there is a box on the left-hand side that asks "Need Westlaw this summer?" If you can't find it, click here.
